I can't lose weight: what are the solutions?

Despite all your efforts, does losing weight seem like an impossible task? Although there are tons of articles on the subject, losing weight can sometimes be more complicated than expected! But don't panic, my Wander Nana, there is usually a simple reason for this that, once found, will allow you to solve all your worries about excess weight. Here are 3 reasons and their solutions that will transform your " I can't lose weight " into "That's it, I've done it!"

1. Are you lacking regularity in your diets?

You've probably already experienced this situation where you start a new diet with the best motivation. And unfortunately, you gradually let yourself fall back into bad habits. All your efforts are in vain, and you just have to start all over again...

Set yourself clear and precise goals!

Take the time to sit down and take stock of yourself: why do you want to lose weight? Is it to feel better about yourself? What motivates you? Why ca n't I lose weight ? Am I allowing myself too many indulgences? How can I fix this?

If you feel the need, write down your answers. This can serve as a boost when you start to feel unmotivated. Set goals for yourself: the weight you'd like to reach, how long it will take, etc.

Make sure you stick to it, note your progress. Don't get discouraged, you'll get there eventually! And if you don't, you can always call on a nutritionist or dietitian to help you achieve your goals.

2. Do you tend to get stressed?

When we're stressed, we often tend to snack nonstop! Something you might suspect isn't such a good habit, especially if you're trying to lose weight.

Luckily for you, there are a few simple solutions that will allow you to quickly and effectively reduce your stress. Meditation, massages, exercise, walks in the forest... It's up to you to find the activity that will allow you to regain your zen attitude! 

3. You want to be too perfect too quickly!

When we reach the stage of “ I can’t lose weight !!”, it’s generally not a very good sign! Often, we put so much pressure on ourselves that nothing seems to work when we try to lose even a few kilos…And that’s the whole problem! The fact of wanting a perfect body in the shortest possible time often pushes us to follow diets that are far too strict and therefore difficult to maintain in the long term. 

Focus on your diet and adjust it gradually. Then add a few cardio sessions. And if it's still too difficult, treat yourself to a special meal to take the pressure off. Moving forward like this, at your own pace, will allow you to gradually progress toward your goal. 

Soon the phrase “ I can’t lose weight ” won’t even be part of your vocabulary anymore! ;)
